About the Role

At our school, we believe every young person deserves the chance to feel valued, supported and empowered to succeed. We're looking for an exceptional Inclusion Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping a positive, nurturing and inclusive environment where students can thrive both in and beyond the classroom.

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced pastoral, behaviour or inclusion professional who is passionate about making a lasting difference to the lives of young people. Working closely with students, families and colleagues, you'll champion engagement, attendance, wellbeing and positive behaviour, helping to remove barriers to learning and ensuring every student receives the support they need to reach their full potential.

As a key member of the school team, you'll lead impactful inclusion strategies, coordinate targeted interventions and drive a culture where every student feels listened to, respected and able to achieve. Your work will be instrumental in creating opportunities, building confidence and helping young people develop the skills and resilience they need for future success.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead inclusion, pastoral and wellbeing strategies that support positive student outcomes.

• Identify and remove barriers to learning through targeted interventions and support plans.

• Monitor behaviour, attendance and wellbeing data to inform effective support.

• Build positive relationships with students, providing guidance and support when challenges arise.

• Work collaboratively with families, staff and external professionals to achieve the best outcomes for students.

• Champion inclusive practices, positive behaviour and student engagement across the school.

• Contribute to safeguarding and student welfare processes, ensuring students are safe, supported and ready to learn.

What you will bring

• Experience working in an inclusion, pastoral, behaviour, safeguarding or student support role.

• A strong understanding of the challenges that can impact learning, attendance, wellbeing and behaviour.

• The ability to build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues from a range of backgrounds.

• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

• A calm, resilient and empathetic approach, with the confidence to manage challenging situations effectively.

• Experience implementing interventions that improve student engagement, wellbeing and outcomes.

• A proactive, solution-focused mindset and genuine passion for helping young people succeed.

• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
