Package Description: About the Role Are you passionate about history, community, and making a meaningful contribution? George Watson’s College is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers to join our team of archive volunteers within the Development Office. This is a unique opportunity to help preserve the rich heritage of our school and play a vital role in fostering the strong sense of community that defines our alumni network. How You’ll Help You’ll be involved in a variety of activities that support our archive work, including: Cataloguing Supporting our programme of annual reunions by identifying materials and stories of interest to our community Undertaking collection handling tasks to ensure items are conserved appropriately Carrying out light desk research Providing general support to the Development Office team where needed Who We’d Love to Hear From We would be especially delighted to hear from: Former pupils Current parents Former members of staff Friends of the School More than anything, we’re looking for people who enjoy being part of a community and are happy to lend a hand.
