About the role
Package Description: Erskine Stewart’s Melville Schools are currently recruiting for a HR Advisor to join the HR team on a 12-month temporary basis (subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks). The role is available immediately, working 29 hours per week (equivalent to 0.8FTE), with a salary of £31,952. If you have adept employment legislation knowledge and are looking for your next opportunity to build internal relationships with key business stakeholders, this role could be for you. The HR Advisor will be responsible for providing a high quality, professional and proactive HR service. They will support the HR Manager with a range of activities across employee relations, projects, change and HR generalist work. They will work closely with the relevant senior managers across Erskine Stewart Melville, and they support and engage daily with a range of internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate must have experience in a HR Advisory or employee advisory capacity , with knowledge and proven experience of employment legislation being essential. Experience using iTrent as a system and payroll experience would be a high advantage although not essential. Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills are essential, along with the ability to multitask and work both independently and as part of a team.
