The opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi Kristin School is a co-educational, non-denominational, independent school on Auckland’s North Shore. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and motivated Kindergarten Teacher to join our team on a fixed-term, full-time basis for Terms 3 - 4, 2026. Due to a growing roll across the Kindergarten and year 0, we are in need of a teacher to uptake a new classroom of four year olds. As a Kindergarten Teacher you will have expertise in tailoring the educational experience to ensure every child can achieve their best and provide exceptional pastoral care. You will be responsible for a select group of children and the classroom programme, which integrates early Math, literacy, social emotional development and creativity through a kinaesthetic, engaging, through the International Baccalaureate, an inquiry approach, supported by the latest research about the Science of Learning and Structured Literacy. Important Skills | Nga Pūkenga Motuhake This role requires a NZ Registered teacher who has: • Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage with a variety of stakeholders • Ability to build strong relationships with students and parents • A commitment to support our co-curricular programme • Ability to work collaboratively as part of an effective team • Enthusiasm for technology • A great sense of humour IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) prior experience is not required.
