Le français suit. TFS – Canada’s International School seeks an exceptional educational leader to serve as Principal, Senior School. Located in Toronto, TFS is a leading independent, bilingual, co-educational institution and the only school in Canada to offer a fully integrated French, Ontario, and International Baccalaureate (IB) program from early years through Grade 12. With over 1,500 students across two campuses, TFS is recognized for its academic excellence, global outlook, and vibrant, diverse community that reflects more than 50 nationalities and an internationally minded ethos. The Principal, Senior School, will join TFS at a compelling moment in its evolution, with strong enrolment, an engaged and supportive parent body, and a clear strategic direction guiding the school’s future. Reporting to the Deputy Head and serving as a key member of the senior leadership team, the Principal will lead a dynamic Senior School of approximately 670 students and 130 faculty and staff. This role offers the opportunity to sustain a high-performing academic environment while advancing key strategic priorities, including implementing a new strategic plan, continuing the evolution of differentiated and flexible learning pathways, and planning and delivering a significant campus expansion, including a new facility for Grades 6 and 7. The Principal will also play an important role in strengthening academic programming, enhancing global university pathways, and ensuring the seamless integration of multiple curricula within a cohesive student experience. The ideal candidate brings significant senior leadership experience gained in a large, sophisticated school and a strong commitment to academic excellence. An inspiring educator and natural relationship builder, they bring a track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, while navigating institutional complexity in a highly consultative manner. They demonstrate the skills to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including students, faculty and staff, and families, and foster the values of openness, inclusion, and global citizenship. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of the International Baccalaureate and be fluently bilingual in French and English.
