About the Role

We are a warm, friendly and welcoming school seeking a passionate SEN Teacher to support our young learners with autism and complex needs. Our students thrive when they are understood, encouraged and given the right support to succeed, and we're looking for someone who shares that belief.

This is a rewarding opportunity to join a dedicated and supportive team where relationships matter, achievements are celebrated, and every day brings the chance to help students build confidence, independence and life-long skills.

You'll deliver engaging, personalised learning that meets the individual needs of each student, helping them achieve outcomes they may never have thought possible. What you will be doing

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to students with autism and complex needs.

• Monitor progress and adapt learning to meet individual needs and EHCP outcomes.

• Create and review personalised learning, behaviour and support plans.

• Foster a positive, structured and nurturing classroom environment.

• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists and families to support student success.

• Promote students' academic, social, emotional and independence skills.

• Contribute to curriculum development and whole-school improvement.

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students at all times.

What you will bring

• QTS or equivalent required.

• Experience teaching students with autism, SEND and complex learning profiles.

• A patient, resilient and compassionate approach to teaching.

• Strong understanding of differentiated and personalised learning strategies.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Passionate about helping every student achieve their potential
