The advert
We are seeking a Pastoral Mentor to join our pastoral support staff team at Gosforth Academy. You will work closely with our other Pastoral Mentors to provide pastoral support to students in our school. This will include mentoring and supporting individual students, managing student behaviour, meeting with parents and assisting students in line with the school’s policies and procedures. The post requires you to be part of the school’s safeguarding team, working with the DSL and Deputy DSL, and therefore this will sometimes require you to respond to sensitive and challenging situations.
