The advert

We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate and highly skilled Guidance Officer to join our school community and support the educational, social, emotional, behavioural and mental health needs of students. As the Guidance Officer, you will provide counselling, psychoeducational assessments, individualised student support and evidence-informed recommendations to students, parents and school staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, sound professional judgement, a commitment to student wellbeing and inclusion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while contributing to a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment for all students.
