About the Role
Lead with purpose. Inspire change. Transform lives.
Are you an experienced school leader ready to make a lasting impact across two specialist settings? We're looking for an exceptional Headteacher to lead our Primary and Secondary provisions, providing strategic direction, inspirational leadership and a relentless focus on improving outcomes for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of two schools, championing high-quality education, driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture where both students and staff can thrive. Working alongside experienced Senior Leadership Teams and the Regional Director, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring every student receives the support, encouragement and opportunities they need to succeed.
At Belmont, we believe every student deserves the chance to realise their potential. Through a personalised, nurturing and ambitious approach, we help young people build confidence, develop resilience and achieve meaningful outcomes both in education and beyond.
What you'll be doing
• Provide strategic and operational leadership across both Primary and Secondary schools.
• Drive school improvement, ensuring exceptional standards of teaching, learning and student achievement.
• Lead and develop high-performing teams, creating a culture of collaboration, accountability and professional growth.
• Champion safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusion, ensuring every student feels safe, valued and supported.
• Use data, self-evaluation and quality assurance processes to improve outcomes and raise standards.
• Build strong relationships with families, local authorities and external professionals.
• Lead preparation for inspections and maintain compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee budgets, resources and school operations to ensure sustainable and effective provision.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a passionate and resilient leader with the vision and expertise to drive excellence across specialist education settings.
• QTS and a relevant leadership qualification or equivalent experience.
• Successful senior leadership experience within a specialist, SEND or SEMH setting.
• A strong understanding of SEMH, additional learning needs and inclusive educational practice.
• A proven track record of delivering school improvement and improving outcomes for students.
• Experience of Ofsted inspections, quality assurance and school development planning.
• The ability to inspire, motivate and develop staff at all levels.
• Strong strategic thinking, communication and decision-making skills.
• Experience managing budgets, resources and operational performance.
• The drive, resilience and ambition to lead positive change and make a meaningful difference to young people's lives.
